Starting off Strong!

The Packers are off to their best start in years. They are currently 3-1 and 1st in the NFC North. They have played three games since the last blog and its time to catch up on this exciting season. The Packers got a hard fought win against the Minnesota Vikings and the Denver Broncos. Unfortunately, they got their first loss of the season this Thursday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Packers defense against all three teams really stood out again. The Packers is the real deal this year and should be taken seriously. This defense has outperformed the offense basically every game this season. They Packers did suffer a major loss in their game against the Eagles. One of their running backs, Jamaal Williams, suffered a severe concussion after a giant helmet-to-helmet blow. Thankfully, he has said to be doing better but is still on concussion protocol so he will not play next game.

Another major injury that could be devastating to the Pack was Davante Adams. Adams suffered a severe case of turf toe. Turf toe is a major sprain of main joint in the big toe. Losing Adams is a major loss to the Packers already struggling offense. Adams, before the injury, was having a game of a lifetime with 10 receptions for 180 yards. This two time pro bowler could cost the Packers games if out for too long so hopefully he returns very soon.

On the bright side, star quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a monstrous game again the Eagles. Rodger threw for 422 yards, two touchdowns, and only one interception. Even though they lost game, this gave hope that the Packers offense was coming up. If this Packers team can get their offense at the same level as their defense, they could be super bowl contenders this year. I am super excited to see this Packers team get to play at their highest level because it is going to be near impossible to stop once it gets rolling.

On Sunday, the Pack will play the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are off to a hot start being 3-1 also. The Cowboys offense will really test this new Packers defense and show how good they really are. This game should be a really fun one to watch because of both teams having star QBs, running backs, and receivers. Im looking forward to watching this Packers team develop and win some more games.
