Keep it ROLLING!

Updated: Oct 17, 2019

The Packers have kept going strong since the last post. The Packers now boast a impressive 5-1 record and had two big time wins. The Packers got two solid dubs over the Cowboys and Lions, who could both very well be playoff teams. This team keeps showing off their talent on defense and I am loving it. The Packers are going to need to keep up this impressive showing if they plan to win the next couple games.

The Packers had a big time 34-24 over the Dallas Cowboys and did it with out their pro-bowl receiver, Davante Adams. The Packer's defense had one of their worst games of the season and held a top tier offense in this league to 24 points. And the offense put up 34 with a monstrous performance form running back Aaron Jones. Jones was having a okay season til this game where he ran his way into the end zone four times for 190 yards. The Dallas defense just couldn't stop this powerhouse.

Last night the Packers played the Detroit Lions. In this divisional match up, the Packers got away with a little bit of a lucky game but a win nonetheless. The Lions got two hands to the face penalties that might have been a bit bogus. The Lions played a great game and are not a team to mess with this season. When I was watching the game I was on the edge of my seat the whole game. The end of the game was decided by a field goal by long-time Packer's kicker Mason Crosby. Crosby hit the field goal and nothing but joy roared through me knowing that the Pack got another dub.

After both these games, one big thing you can take away is that the team has a lot of depth. And that the young rookies and newer players aren't afraid to step up. With Davante Adams out, Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, two young receivers, have stepped up big time to fill his shoes. When Adams comes back, I don't know many teams in this league who can stop this scary receiving core and running back combo of Jones and Jamaal Williams. The way Rodgers is playing this years is really showing what type of player he is turning into and I like it. In a Interview, Rodgers said" I've accomplished a lot statistically in this league. I just want to win now". He is becoming a better leader and teammate to this young team.

In the next two weeks, the Packers have the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs will be their biggest challenge this season this season by far. The Chiefs are 4-2 and have a extremely dangerous offense. They have the reigning MVP, pro-bowl running back, and all-pro tight end. The Packer's defense will have to step up big again to shutdown QB Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs offense. But I think with Adams back and this new and improved offense, the Packers can get two more wins.
